Our Mission

Shades of Survival (S.O.S) seeks to strengthen existing education and outreach efforts in our communities. We do this by increasing cancer screenings across Tarrant and Dallas County, networking, information sharing and collaborations. We have two goals in mind.

  • To increase screening and re-screening rates for women and men of color, the uninsured and other underserved people in Tarrant and Dallas County.
  • To build capacity for Shades of Survival (S.O.S) to effectively reach/serve men and women of color, the uninsured and other underserved women in Tarrant and Dallas County.
